İmge Terzi Öznep, M.Sc.
I am a Turkish psychologist and PhD researcher living in Lisbon, Portugal.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baskent University (Ankara, Turkey) and a Master’s in the Psychology of Intercultural Relations from ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon, where I am now completing my PhD in Psychology. My doctoral research focuses on the acculturation and adaptation of immigrants.
I first came to Lisbon as an international student and have been living here as a migrant since 2020. Moving countries, studying, and settling abroad myself strongly shapes how I understand the emotional and practical sides of adaptation.
Over the past years, I have been providing psychological support to an international community of clients living in different parts of the world. In addition to individual work, I offer workshops and trainings for organisations on topics such as intercultural communication, diversity and inclusion, and working in migration-related contexts.
Across these roles, my aim is to offer a safe, collaborative, and culturally sensitive space that brings together scientific knowledge and lived experience.
